The Association des Amis des Rencontres du 7e Art is like the credits of a great cinema story. It gives it precious impetus and contributes directly to the reputation of the festival, which celebrates the heritage of the moving image in the humanist spirit of the history of the 7th Art.
Throughout the year, Les Amis des Rencontres du 7e Art Lausanne organises events linked to cinema in general, with private screenings and previews. These events are usually held alternately in Geneva and Lausanne. The association is also an opportunity for its members to meet personalities from the world of cinema and to become part of the Rencontres du 7e Art Lausanne family, founded and chaired by Vincent Perez.

The programme focuses on the works of our guests, as well as masterpieces from the world cinema heritage, grouped each year under a theme that establishes a link with the issues of our time.
The Rencontres are open to all, and the screenings are all presented on a large screen at a price accessible to as many people as possible.
