First noticed in Christophe Honoré's La Belle Personne in 2008, Léa Seydoux has become one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation, both in France and internationally. Winner of numerous awards, including the Palme d'Or at the Cannes International Film Festival for Abdellatif Kechiche's La Vie d'Adèle in 2013, she alternates between auteur and popular films with equal success. She has appeared in Rebecca Zlotowski's Belle Épine and Grand Central, Benoît Jacquot's Les Adieux à la Reine and Le Journal d'une femme de chambre, Bertrand Bonello's Saint Laurent, Ursula Meier's L'Enfant d'en Haut and Sam Mendes' Spectre, where she is the new James Bond Girl.
In 2019, Léa Seydoux will surprise audiences as a drug-addicted criminal in Arnaud Desplechin's Roubaix, une lumière. She continues her international career in 2021, reuniting with Wes Anderson in The French Dispatch and Daniel Craig in Mourir peut attendre.
More recently, Léa Seydoux has made a name for herself in two different genres: Mia Hansen-Løve's Un beau matin and David Cronenberg's Les Crimes du futur, both selected for the 2022 Cannes International Film Festival.
She will share the screen with George MacKay in Bertrand Bonello's next film, La Bête. Finally, she is expected to appear in Denis Villeneuve's Dune, Part II and David Cronenberg's next film, The Shrouds.
