Marthe Keller

Rencontres 7e Art Lausanne is delighted to announce that this year's Prix des Rencontres - 24 heures will be awarded to the great actress Marthe Keller at a special ceremony on Saturday 8th March. To celebrate her exceptional career, we have planned a unique programme paying tribute to this emblematic figure of French-language and international cinema.

The evening will begin with a screening of one of her most memorable films: Bobby Deerfield from Sydney Pollack. This masterpiece, in which Marthe Keller shares the screen with Al Pacino, represents a key stage in her career and enabled her to shine on the international scene. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Marthe Keller herself, a special opportunity to talk about her artistic choices, her experiences and the key roles that have shaped her career.

Stéphanie Chuat and Véronique Reymond will have the honour of presenting her with the Prix Rencontres 7e Art - 24 heures in recognition of her invaluable contribution to cinema. His talent, charisma and ability to portray powerful, nuanced characters have touched generations of cinema-goers and inspired many artists. Through this award, the Rencontres are also keen to highlight the importance of the visibility and enhancement of women in the film industry, values that Marthe Keller upholds with elegance and commitment.
