Angeliki Papoulia is a Greek actress and theater director.

She graduated from the National University of Athens and the Empros Theatre Drama School in 2000.

She has appeared in numerous films by Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, including Canine, Alps and The Lobster. These films were a critical and popular success, winning numerous awards at world-famous festivals such as Cannes, Venice and Sydney. In 2020, she won Best Actress at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards for her role in The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea, by Syllas Tzoumerkas.

In 2004, she co-founded the Blitz theater company (2004 - 2017), in which she writes, directs and performs. The troupe has presented its shows at major festivals and theaters across Europe (Festival d'Avignon, Théâtre de la Ville, La Comédie de Reims).
