Mimi Lempicka
After graduating from the Beaux-Arts and studying History of Art and Costume Design, she turned her attention to costume design, mainly for feature films.
Since Luc Besson's "The Big Blue", she has worked on more than 70 feature films and received several nominations, including the César for Best Costume Design for Albert Dupontel's "Au-revoir Là Haut" in 2018.
From anticipation films to offbeat contemporary, biopic, or historical, she is passionate about storytelling and characters. She draws all her presentations and models for directors, right down to the extra boards, and does her own iconographic research! In 2018, she published "Les Costumes font leur Cinéma Les Carnets de Mimi Lempicka", a walk through 8 films, from the point of view of the characters and costumes, with all their drawings and models.
She co-presented a lecture on costumes and sets with the head Set designer Anne Seibel at Le Capitole.
